Plain-English summary: our plans are for skilled users; you get personal rights to view/download for your own builds; no redistribution or commercial use without a separate license; digital access is delivery; refunds are limited (see Refund Policy). Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
1) Definitions
“Plans”: our woodworking content (text, diagrams, photos/renders, AR/3D, printables, templates, DXF/SVG/ZIPs).
“Hosted Content”: plan pages you access on our website while logged in.
“Downloadable Files”: files you can save (PDF, DXF/SVG, ZIP, CSV, etc.).
“Service”: our site, delivery tools, and embedded viewers.
2) Eligibility & Skill
You confirm you’re 18+ and competent with intermediate–advanced woodworking.
You’re responsible for your shop, tools, helpers, and workspace.
3) Safety & Assumption of Risk
Woodworking involves sharp tools, power tools, dust, chemicals, fire risk, and heavy materials.
You assume all risks of injury, loss, or damage. Use PPE (eye, hearing, dust/respirator), follow tool manuals, manage oily rags safely, and keep minors away from tools.
4) Scope & No Professional Advice
The Plans are informational; they are not engineering, architectural, or professional advice.
No structural or load rating is promised. Check local laws/codes and obtain permits/inspections if required.
5) License to Use (Hosted vs. Downloadable)
Hosted Content: personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to view in your browser while logged in. No scraping, copying, rehosting, or bulk capture (beyond incidental caching).
Downloadable Files: personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and keep for your own builds. You may print for personal use. No sharing, reposting, resale, or derivative plan sales.

We may use watermarks/fingerprints to identify unauthorized sharing. All content is © The Grain Bros.
6) Delivery & Acceptance
Hosted Content is delivered when access is unlocked on the site or when we send access links.
Downloadable Files are delivered when download links are shown/emailed.
Delivery is deemed complete at that time (keep backups).
7) Access Term & Availability (Hosted Content)
Hosted access is provided while the product and site are available. We may modify, suspend, or retire features/content at any time.
We aim for good availability but do not guarantee uptime or device/browser compatibility. Temporary outages do not entitle refunds.
8) Accounts, Security & Fair Use
One account per purchaser; no password sharing. You’re responsible for activity under your credentials.
No scraping, bulk downloading, bots, or headless browsers. We may apply rate limits/CAPTCHA/download caps.
We may suspend or revoke access for suspected abuse or security risks.
9) Printables & Templates
Print at 100% / Actual size (non-borderless). Use the 50.00 mm check box on each page to confirm scale before use.
Templates and jigs are user-made tools; inspect before use. If scale is off, reprint at 100%.
10) AR/3D Models & Software
AR/3D viewers are provided as-is. Device support varies. Screen colors and scale previews may differ; validate with measurements/prints.
11) Dimensions, Tolerances, Materials
Drawings show software-perfect geometry; real stock varies.
Unless stated otherwise: critical fits ±0.2 mm, overall lengths ±0.5 mm, angles ±0.3°.
Wood moves; tools have kerf/runout. Measure, dry-fit, and adjust. Test on scrap before final cuts.
Verify third-party products (adhesives, finishes, foam) and their SDS.
12) Orders, Pricing, Taxes
Prices may change. Taxes/VAT are added where applicable. Your bank/provider may add FX fees; we don’t control or refund those.
13) Refunds & Returns
See Refund Policy. Summary: digital access = delivered; non-refundable after delivery, except narrow cases (duplicate purchase on same email, misdescription, unfixable file defect, or where required by law).
14) Prohibited Uses
No scraping, bulk downloads, redistribution, resale, torrents, public posting, or plan-derivative sales.
No reverse engineering or using the Plans to create competing products or plan sets.
15) IP Enforcement & Takedowns
We may disable accounts, revoke licenses, or issue takedowns for violations.
For alleged copyright infringement, contact us through our contact form: https://thegrainbros.com/contact/ with your contact details, the work claimed infringed, exact URLs, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you own/represent the rights.
16) Third-Party Services
Payment processors, hosting/CDNs, analytics, and embedded viewers are third-party services. We’re not responsible for their outages or changes. Use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
17) Warranty Disclaimer
The Service and Plans are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
No warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or reliability.
18) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; data loss; business interruption; or replacement costs.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Plans or Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Plan.
19) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Grain Bros, owners, and staff from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Plans/Service, your builds, your breach of these Terms, or violations of law or third-party rights.
20) Privacy
Your use of the site is governed by our Privacy Policy. Where these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict on privacy matters, the Privacy Policy controls.
21) Governing Law & Disputes (Claimant’s Law + Neutral Fallback)
Governing law. To the extent permitted by applicable conflict-of-laws rules and mandatory consumer protections, any dispute is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the party bringing the claim resides (the “Claimant’s Law”), without regard to its conflict rules. Where Claimant’s Law cannot validly apply to all issues, unresolved issues are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Venue / forum. A consumer Claimant may file in the courts of their home jurisdiction. A business Claimant may file in the courts of its home jurisdiction. We may bring counterclaims in the same forum.
Optional arbitration. Either party may elect binding arbitration administered by a recognized provider (e.g., ICC or JAMS International) under its rules. Seat: England & Wales (administrative seat only). Hearings may be by secure video unless either party reasonably requests in-person in the Claimant’s home jurisdiction. Language: English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
No class actions. To the extent permitted by law, disputes are resolved only on an individual basis; class/collective/representative actions are waived.
Injunctive relief. Either party may seek temporary or injunctive relief in any competent court to protect IP or confidential information.
Consumer rights preserved. Non-waivable consumer protections under Claimant’s Law continue to apply.
22) Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. The Effective date above shows when. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
23) Miscellaneous
Severability: if any term is invalid, the rest stays in effect.
No waiver: failure to enforce isn’t a waiver.
Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign.
Force majeure: we aren’t liable for delays outside our control.
Entire agreement: these Terms + the product page details + the Refund Policy are the full agreement.
Language: English is the controlling language.
